Canada is not the worst place I have been, that would be lagos Nigeria. I did find a site where you can look up your doctor and find out how much, from whom and why they received money. For the life of me I can’t remember the name of it but I looked up my former doctor and she wasn’t on the list but I know she always had a boatload of ‘free’ drugs to hand out. I really do wish I could remember the site name to give you. I think I got it on a random search and had no further use for it so I didn’t write it down. It did appear from the list that it ran from a few hundred dollars for dinner to thousands for lectures and studies.
I do believe you are right about most of the doctors though and I think it starts when they are in medical school. The med schools get big money from big pharma and big pharma sucks these gonna be and newbie doctors in. I think if we change the schools (not going to be easy) then doctors will change. However, I have heard that so many people are getting into the natural way of dealing with illness that there is a push back beginning. I certainly hope so. I’m in my 70’s so with Medicare and government health care my chances of being treated for cancer or having certain procedures done is pretty much going to be a none event.
